This haven of biodiversity, where Nature and humankind work in harmony, is revealed on the finest terroirs of the appellation (limestone plateaus).
Our CSR approach

Our environmental practices
Committed viticulture: organic and biodynamic farming.
At Château de La Dauphine, respect for nature guides every decision we make. Our vineyard has been certified organic since 2015—an approach that excludes the use of synthetic chemical products and promotes the natural balance of soils and vines.
We also adopted biodynamics as early as 2017. This approach views the vine as a living organism integrated into its environment. It is based on natural practices and careful observation of nature’s cycles in order to strengthen soil vitality, vine health, and the authentic expression of our terroir.
Our measures to support living ecosystems
Biodiversity lies at the heart of our estate. We have implemented numerous actions to encourage life in and around the vines.
Sheep graze in the vineyard during winter: they naturally maintain the grass cover and fertilize the soils. Our black Ouessant sheep also contribute to this living ecosystem.
Beehives are home to our bees, essential to pollination and the balance of nature. The hedgerows we plant provide shelter and food for many species of birds and insects. Lastly, the estate’s pond is a true reservoir of biodiversity, encouraging the presence of amphibians, birds, and many organisms essential to natural balance.
We also work to limit the environmental impact of our activity. Thanks to our dry matter map, we analyse and precisely monitor the biomass present across our estate: vines, cover crops, hedgerows, trees, and living soils.
This approach enables us to better understand the vineyard’s role in carbon storage and to adapt our practices to support natural cycles. By developing organic matter and vegetation, we actively contribute to carbon capture and soil regeneration.

Our commitment does not stop at the environment. We place people at the heart of our project through an approach we call “Living well together”.
It is founded on values of respect, sharing, and collaboration—whether with our teams, our partners, our visitors, or our local area. We foster a fulfilling working environment, the transmission of know-how, and dialogue with everyone who contributes to life on the estate.

Our commitments
Our overall approach is supported by several certifications and labels that demonstrate our commitment to continuous improvement. We are engaged in organic and biodynamic farming, and our estate is certified SME Level 3 (Environmental Management System), ensuring rigorous environmental management.
We are also recognised by the Cultivons Demain label, which highlights innovative initiatives in favour of sustainable agriculture, as well as the Bee Friendly label, which encourages practices that respect pollinators.
Through these commitments, we aim to cultivate a living vineyard, preserve our environment, and pass on to future generations a rich and sustainable terroir.

Environmental charter
However, if innovations bring hope, so that, as with plants that are not deceptive, fruit may appear,
they are not to be rejected; yet tradition must be preserved in its proper place.
