Outstanding winemaking

Modernity, tradition & respect for the environment

Trained as an oenologist (DNO Bordeaux) and with an international career behind me, I chose in 2016 to return to my roots in Fronsac, my lifelong favourite. Château de La Dauphine, with the excellence of its limestone terroir and its organic commitment, was the obvious choice.
Here, with a team that never stops reinventing itself, we create living wines, designed to evolve and resonate in harmony with those who discover them.

Cuvier circulaire à gestion gravitaire

Optimal winemaking conditions

The grapes undergo double sorting, both mechanical and manual, with the utmost respect for the fruit.
Our stainless-steel and concrete vats enable fully controlled parcel-by-parcel vinification, thanks to the circular gravity-flow vat room.

Barriques de vin

The wine is aged in barrels (225L), foudres (20hL) and amphorae for 1 year. Our cellar, which is semi-underground, doubly insulated and temperature-controlled, benefits from the ingenious oxoline system.

In the cellar, precision and finesse are the watchwords for revealing the fruit at its finest.

Amphore en argile

The estate continually invests in new approaches to further refine its winemaking: clay and sandstone amphorae, working with coopers who follow biodynamic principles, reducing the toast levels on barrels, and introducing 20-hectoliter wooden vats.
