Invited by Guillaume Halley, owner of Château La Dauphine, the gentlemen brotherhood of Fronsac held on Tuesday the 16^th of June its 38^th chapter in the same time of Vinexpo event. Hundred people gathered in the park of the château to attend the induction of new members among which 4 collaborators and friends of La Dauphine :

• Jean-Claude TERDJEMANE – Chef Sommelier of Peninsula hotel in Shanghai
• Xavier LECLERC – Cellar manager of Auchan Roncq
• Eric CHAMPAGNE – Export manager of Johanès Boubée
• Antoine CLEMENT – Wine merchant

First of all , a gentleman presents in the traditional red and blue cloak of the Duchy of Fronsac, inducts each candidate, detailing his/her curriculum vitae, revealing his/her interest and contribution in wine industry of Fronsac / or Canon Fronsac circles. All these candidates are inducted because they have undertaken to promote the merits of Fronsac and Canon-Fronsac wines at all times and in all places. After the oath, each was given a medal of the Brotherhood in the image of Marshal Richelieu. All the inducted candidates must drink from a huge glass that everyone is sharing.

A sweet evening of early summer which continued with a dinner composed of local truffles served with some various wines of the appellation and jazz music playing all along.
