La Dauphine’s first white wine

La Dauphine’s first white wine

For the 1st time of its history, La Dauphine presents its 1st Bordeaux white wine !

On Tuesday, September 3, 2019, the entire La Dauphine team gathered at the first light of day to harvest the white plot.
This small plot of almost 1 hectare, 75% sauvignon blanc & 25% sémillon, was planted 5 years ago. Then, it is the 1st time it is harvested.

Winemaking began, juices were already very aromatic with notes of litchi, citrus and yellow fruits such as peach.
Followed by a 6-month ageing for 50% of the batch, in new barrels.

Meanwhile, the bottle and the label were closely selected in order to reflect all the elegance we wanted for this new range of wine. Finally, in April, the wine is bottled and our 1st white was born…
